Learning outcomes
This course aims at developing knowledge and skills that are necessary to successfully carry out simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, in particular regarding the language combination German and Italian.

Practical exercises with audio- and videorecording of stundents' output; theory-oriented discussion of processes and problems; self-, peer and teacher assessment.
Assessment methods
Practical interpreting exercises both in simultaneous and coonsecutive mode, with constant assessment during interpreting classes and towards the end of semesters on speeches on topics introduced during the course.
Teaching tools
Audio/videotaped speeches and authentic conference documentation, simultaneous interpreting booths, audio and videotapings of student output, extensive use of e-learning platform.
