Attendance to learning activities is mandatory; the minimum attendance requirement to be admitted to the final exam is 60% of lessons. For Integrated Courses (IC), the 60% attendance requirement refers to the total amount of I.C. lessons. Students who fail to meet the minimum attendance requirement will not be admitted to the final exam of the course, and will have to attend relevant classes again during the next academic year.

Professors may authorise excused absences upon receipt of proper justifying documentation, in case of illness or serious reasons. Excused absences do not count against a student’s attendance record to determine their minimum attendance requirement.

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento

The integrated course is divided into four modules:

1. Biochemistry
2. Semeiotics
3. Anatomy
4. Physiology

Examination Timing and Session Rules:
Students are required to complete all four modules of the examination within one of two designated sessions:

• First Session: Includes exams conducted in January, February, and the Easter break.
• Second Session: Includes exams conducted in June, July, and September.

If a student begins a module in a specific session, they must complete all four modules within the same session. Failure to do so will result in the student having to retake all four modules in the subsequent session.

Final Grade Calculation:
The final grade is calculated as the credit-weighted average (CFU-mediated) of the scores obtained across all modules.

Specific Details for the Anatomy Module:
The Anatomy examination is oral and consists of two parts:

1. Microscopic Anatomy Recognition: Students will identify and describe a microscopic specimen using a microscope.
2. Program-wide Questions: Students will answer a comprehensive set of questions covering the entire anatomy syllabus
