- Corso: First cycle degree programme (L) in ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS (cod. 0904)
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to illustrate basic concepts and techniques of statistics.
Special emphasis will be given to practical applications in economics and social sciences. Student will be requested to be able to apply simple statistical techniques and to interpret reports that use statistics and probability.

Teaching methods
Theoretical concepts as well as statistical techniques are explained and illustrated by examples.
Assessment methods
Students are required to solve some exercises, to comment the
results, and to describe the main properties of the statistical
techniques they have used.
