At the end of the laboratory students will be aware and knoledgable about the contents, methods and strategies to prepare their own resume (CV) and will have obtained the relational abilities that allow them to succesfully face business interviews.

Course contents:

During the first Module it will be explained the structure and contents of the Laboratory.

All along the course those topics will be deeply reviewed, analyzed and examined:

-The actual job market: Trends, Insights and forecast 24-25

-What the Companies and Universities expect from Graduates and the way around

-The different Tool’s Graduates need to be prepared to face Recruiting process

-The role of the social media in the job Market.

-Types of recruiting processes and how they will be managed

- Roles of the new technology in the Labor Market

“Finding a Job is itself a job”, students will be trained to gain capabilities to monitor job posting and afterwards their own applications. They will understand the characteristics and skills the market needs and how to match with their owns.

It will be asked to the students to work in team or on their own in different assignment, concerning CV, business cases and role plays.

At the end of the laboratory students will be aware and knowledgeable about the contents, methods and strategies to prepare their own resume (CV) and will have obtained the relational abilities that allow them to successfully face business interviews.

Participation of Exchange Students:

A maximum of 25 exchange students (Erasmus, Overseas, etc.) is accepted. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED logic will be used for incoming students.

Learning Objectives (ILOs):

A description of the technical knowledge and skills students should acquire at the end of the course, once the entire learning process is completed (3 to 5 ILOs).

- LO-1: Learn how to read job market dynamics.

- LO-2: Understand the different approaches in recruitment processes.

- LO-3: Knowledge and application of tools (CV, Motivation Letter, Reference Letter, Interview)

- LO-4: Understand which skills and competencies are key to achieve professional results.

 

Student Evaluation

Written Exam with open-ended and closed questions.

The course mark is either pass or fail.

Metodi didattici

The course will employ different teaching methods: Interactive lessons, Group Works, Exercises and Managerial Talks.
