Interlibrary loan

Readers may borrow books, relevant to their course of study, from other Italian or international libraries.

Users entitled to this service:

• students of Forli Campus who can borrow up to 8 books at a time
• exchange students of Forli Campus who can borrow up to 5 books  at a time to be read in the Library
• professors and staff of Forli Campus
• students of Bologna University with a certified disability
• students, professors and staff of Bologna University who can borrow up to 3 books at a time, provided the required documents are available in Bologna University and public libraries. Users must be registered at the Library.

Terms to access this service:

• users must be registered at the Library
• students must send an enrollment self-certificate for the current academic year tobibliotecaruffilli.interbib@unibo.it
• book requests must be submitted by using the online form
  

Delivery times will depend on the libraries supplying the items. The Library will inform users when their books arrive, or if it is impossible to satisfy the requirement.

Renewals

Readers may apply for renewals of their interlibrary loans, provided no one else has booked the item(s). Loan renewals can be made in person, by e-mail or by phone.

Obligations and penalties

Readers must not damage or underline the books and must return them by the due date. If they do not comply, the library will ask for a refund or will suspend their borrowing privileges.

Libraries

The Library grants interlibrary loan to other libraries. Private citizens’ requirements  will not be accepted. The service is provided on a reciprocal basis.

Shipments are made by registered mail.
