David Solomons was educated in the UK and at university in London UCL and Barcelona (Barcelona University), degrees in Business and Constitutional Law and Iberian Culture.

David Solomons was formerly chief executive and now lead consultant of CultureSmart!Consulting plus a number of leading management consultancies in Europe and the US. His expertise is in delivering a uniquely holistic approach to all aspects of cross cultural orientation and international management training for corporates, public bodies, NGO's and charitable institutions globally. 

David is one of the world's leading experts on Cultural Intelligence and has delivered papers, lectures and speeches on cross cultural and human understanding throughout the world, including being a regular speaker at the world renowned Conference for World Affairs in Boulder, Colorado. He was also on the steering committee of a British cross-party parliamentary initiative working for the establishment of a Ministry for Peace.. 

Born and raised in England, David's background is in behavioural psychology as well as training and business. Having lived, worked and run organizations in the U.S., The Middle East, Spain, France and the U.K., he is fluent in four languages. He is an approved speaker for The Speaker's Bureau, and also trained as a psychotherapist.

He has also created and delivers courses on Cultural Intelligence to a number of International Business Schools, and works with NGO's in the Balkans and the Middle East.

Whilst working for various multi-nationals who ‘off-shore' voice and technical services to India, has revolutionized the management and training techniques of Indian contact centers. Appointed official Cultural Intelligence trainer to the British Olympic Committee personnel working at the Beijing and London Olympics

Work In the media included co-writing and presenting the ‘Crossing Cultures' feature in BBC World TV's weekly travel programme ‘FastTrack'. Regularly writes columns for publications and broadcasts throughout the world.

Davide Solomons has been teaching at Birmingham Business School and Ashcroft Business School, Cambridge.
