The University of Bologna is dedicated to the valorisation and promotion of its cultural heritage through transdisciplinary projects and innovative research aimed at developing advanced and sustainable solutions for protecting and preserving cultural assets.

University policies aimed at promoting open access, open science, citizen science, education and meetings with schools and citizens are inspired by three main principles – participation, inclusion and accessibility.
