Group psychological support programme to address emotional overload due to flooding

The group psychological support programme provides listening, guidance, and support to cope with the emotional overload caused by flooding and hydrogeological instability.

This intervention is free of charge and consists of five 90-minute sessions, delivered online.

Who it is for

The psychological support programme is aimed at the staff of Bologna University (professional staff, teaching staff, researchers, research fellows, foreign language instructors, CEL, language trainers, fixed term foreign language assistant), who were residing or domiciled, at the time of the weather events in May 2023 and September 2024, in one of the affected municipalities.

How to access the psychological support programme

The group psychological support intervention is offered as part of the University’s psychological support service “I Will Take Care of Myself.” You can request access by completing the online form.

Participants will be required to fill in a questionnaire and an informed consent form, ensuring the protection of privacy in the processing of personal data.

If you are unable to attend an appointment, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
