B1864 - German Language and Laboratory I (Gr. B)

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course students should reach a minimum level of A2 (Council of Europe framework) for spoken German, while the ideal level is B1, and a minimum level of B1 for reading comprehension – ideal level B2. Students should be able to understand written texts of average difficulty regarding the disciplines of the degree course and to understand a news broadcast and make a simple oral report on it.

Course contents

Reading, analysis, translation and vocabulary acquisition of pages from the textbook in the syllabus dealing with the German constitutional system, Germany's international relations with other states and international organisations; respect for human rights; economic development; the energy turnaround; the founding values of German society and its cultural aspects.
