Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to give to the student the essential theoretical and practical knowledge of the main primitive and secondary diseases of the genito-urinary tract, with the objective to give the follows elements: correct theoretical and methodological approach to urological and andrological primary and secondary disease; differentiate clinical scenarios and knowledge of prevention, diagnosis, clinical presentation, decision making process and possible complications. At the end of the course the student would know the basic information concerning the main urological and andrological disease, as well as the biochemical, imaging and clinical test involved in the diagnosis and treatment process. Thanks to the attendance to training courses and elective mono-thematic courses (robotic surgey in urology), at the end of the course the student will gain the theoretical-practical bases helpful to correctly diagnose and treat the diseases

Teaching methods
lezioni frontali
Preparazione su un numero molto limitato di argomenti affrontati nel corso e capacità di analisi che emerge solo con l’aiuto del docente, espressione in linguaggio complessivamente corretto → 18-19;
Preparazione su un numero limitato di argomenti affrontati nel corso e capacità di analisi autonoma solo su questioni puramente esecutive, espressione in linguaggio corretto → 20-24;
Preparazione su un numero ampio di argomenti affrontati nel corso, capacità di compiere scelte autonome di analisi critica, padronanza della terminologia specifica → 25-29;

Assessment methods
oral exam with one or to question on a general argument of the program
The purpose of the oral exam is to verify the student's ability to apply his or her knowledge and to make the necessary logical-deductive connections.
Gradation of the final grade:
preparation on a very limited number of topics covered in the course and analytical skills that emerge only with the help of the teacher, expressed in an overall correct language → 18-19; Preparation on a limited number of topics covered in the course and ability to autonomous analysis only on purely executive matters, expression in correct language → 20-24; Preparation on a large number of topics covered in the course, ability to make independent choices of critical analysis, mastery of specific terminology → 25-29; Basically exhaustive preparation on the topics covered in the course, ability to make autonomous choices of critical analysis and connection, full mastery of specific terminology and ability to argue and self-reflection → 30-30L.
Teaching tools
The students have also the possibility of performing a small training at the console of the surgical robot using the simulator or at the pelvic trainer for laparoscopic surgery
