Learning outcomes
By the end of the didactic module,, the student is able to identify the general principles of clinical risk management as applied to the nursing profession. In particular, he or she will be able to identify the taxonomy and causes of undesirable events, the main risk management tools and risk areas in nursing, and the responsibilities of the nurse as applied to the management of nursing risks.

- Reactive incident analysis tools (Significant event audit-SEA, Root Cause Analysis-RCA)
- Proactive analysis tools (FMEA/FMECA, safety visits, direct observations)
