Learning outcomes
At the end of the module the student knows the main nursing care delivery models in different care settings. Identifies the main competences of other members of the nursing team and relates them to his/her own competences. Identifies the organisational principles of continuity of care, roles and system of responsibilities using the clinical governance approach.
Course contents
From health policies to work organisation
-Organisation of the NHS Health Systems in Italy (Company, IRCSS)
- Organisational models of meso-system hospital and territory (hospitals by intensity of care)
- Organisational models of unit care (by tasks, functions, sectors, small teams, primary care, case managers)
- Care models in relation to the needs/expectations of users, operators and services.
_Definition of care priorities and tools to ensure care (deferability/indifferentiability of interventions).

- Reliability of activities: the areas of entrustment and delegation in the care process.
