Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student understands the importance of Francophone literature in European tradition and the dialectic with European tradition on the part of Francophone literatures worldwide. The student commands an identitarian view of each of the literatures surveyed and an anthropological view of the elements that the various cultural zones in which Francophone literatures are present have in common.

Course contents

Throughout the 20th  century, writers have highlighted the impact of War on relationships with others. Through the works of five writers the course aims to reflect on the ruptures, the silences, the psychological suffering that wars have caused.

Assessment methods

The assessment si Made on the basis of an oral exam of what is propose during the course. The critical and methodological skills of the studente are evacuate. The studente must alzo propose HiSense ogni analisi su of the texts. It is important that the student is able to demonstrate his/her ability to read and analyze a test by Marino it interact with the problems and theoretical  texts proposed during the course. A Broadway vision of the problems, linked to a good ability of textual analysis and the demonstration of a good knowledge of the French language will be app reciate. The flat and repetitive knowledge of the work, a not very correct knowledge of the language  lead to an average evaluation. Large gaps and poor knowledge of the language lead to a negative evaluation.

The analysis with computer supports (Sketch Engine, Ant-Conc…) will be used.
