Learning outcomes
In its first section, the course aims at analyzing the historical evolution of the enviromentalist thought, the inset of the concept of sustainable development and themes of environmental politics. Through the analysis of national and international literature, the concepts and practices of environmental education, education in nature and outdoor education will be dealt with, up to education for sustainability. At the end of the module, the student: - knows the historical evolution of the environmentalist thought and the theoretical framework of sustainable development, in a global and critical perspective; - is aware of themes of environmental politics (functions, institution and management of protected areas), with a special focus on the Emilia-Romagna Region; - is able to plan and manage projects based on the nexus between nature and culture at the local level; - knows concepts and practices typical of the specific educational and didactic; - will be able to analyze environmental education projects carried out in schools and territories; - will know the indispensable methodologies for planning and coordinating intentional educational and didactic experiences oriented towards sustainability in natural contexts; - he will be able to continue his path of knowledge of the debate on the issue by autonomously consulting conventional sources and materials proposed by the network.

Teaching methods
The course will make use of theoretical lectures, in-depth study of application case studies and exercises, active / cooperative teaching methodologies with the aim of promoting critical and active participation of students.
Assessment methods
The assessment of learning takes place by means of a single assessment of the two modules that make up the didactic activity. Final evaluation: oral test.
The correctness and exhaustiveness of the answers, their relevance and the specific dictionary used will be assessed.
No aids or adjustments may be made to the test, except by prior agreement between the lecturers, the student concerned and the UNIBO Disability Office. The overall final grade will be in .../30. In order to be admitted to the exam, registration via the electronic notice board is required, in strict compliance with the deadlines laid down. Those who are unable to enrol due to technical problems by the scheduled date are required to notify the teaching secretariat of the problem as soon as possible (and in any case before the official closing of the enrollment lists). It will be the faculty of the teachers to admit them to take the test.
