Learning outcomes

At the end of the course students acquire the analytical tools and concepts for effectively preparing a business plan for service organizations. The course examines the objectives and structure of the business plan, including the marketing plan and competitive strategy, the operations, organizational structure and the financial plan of the new service activity. Students are required to actively participate and are trained to the preparation of business plans

Assessment methods

Attending students (present for at least 50% of classes) will be able to have 50% of their grade covered by a group project + 50% of the sit in exam + up to 10% round up for class participation. For Erasmus students, the same exam arrangements apply.

Sit in exams are held in presence, in the classroom, with the following modalities: A written test, compulsory, awarding a maximum grade of 30 points + Honors

The exam includes questions on critical discussion of theories, strategies, tools and their application to real or hypothetical cases.

Preparation for the exam requires a comprehensive knowledge of the theories, analytical and conceptual tools and applications contained in all the texts that constitute the course materials, in addition to the materials distributed during the course on the platform.

It is possible to reject the exam grade up to two times.
The exam grade will be given according to the following graduation:

- <18 insufficient
- 18-23 sufficient
- 24-27 good
- 28-30 excellent
- 30 cum laude excellent
