Learning outcomes
The Laboratory will focus on the study of the issues of promoting work well-being and equal opportunities, as well as combating discrimination in the workplace. Discussions or collective exercises are foreseen through the study of didactic material distributed during the lessons.The Laboratory aims to provide knowledge relating to the sources (internal and community) of the matter and to make students understand the role of law, collective bargaining and jurisprudence in relation to the issues dealt with.
Course contents
The Laboratory is divided in two parts.
The first part focuses on the protection of health in the workplace and on the enhancement of work well-being.
The second part is dedicated to the issue of equal opportunities and the fight against discrimination, in particular gender.
Readings/Bibliography
Bibliographic information and teaching material will be provided during the lessons, also through the appropriate online support platform for teaching.
Teaching methods
Some lessons are held with the participation of students who will be asked to submit reports. The characteristic of the Laboratory makes attendance indispensable.
Assessment methods
Verification of learning takes place through the development of a written paper that will focus on the topics indicated in the "Contents" section. The modalities of the written test will be specified by the teacher. Participation in the discussion and the reports presented during the lessons will also be evaluated. In order to acquire CFU it is essential to attend most of the lessons (80% of attendance), to actively participate through exercises and reports (individual or collective) and to pass a final written test. Lessons will be held in the second semester and students will be able to take the exam starting from the summer session.
