Learning outcomes

The student, through the internship in preparation for the final exam, carries out research and / or practical activities in a company based abroad that allow him to acquire skills and professionalism useful for preparing the degree thesis, on the basis of a project agreed with the supervisor and with the support of an external tutor. Through the internship, the student acquires in-depth knowledge in an area of his interest in terms of data, decision-making processes and operating modes that characterize the management of the host organization. Furthermore, the student applies his problem analysis skills in a professional reality and develops his communication skills by comparing himself in a working context of interest.

Course contents

The internship is develpoed on the basis of a training project agreed with the host organization and with the support of a tutor.

Students can carry out their internship outside of Italy following one of the possibilities listed below:

This internship allows the student to gain the first 12 credits associated with the final dissertation. To this end, (at least) 300 hours of activities (max. 360 hours) have to be conducted by the student in the company. Such activities have to be consistent with the project shared with the teacher who will play the role of thesis supervisor and the tutor within the company.
