Learning outcomes

The course is organized into three highly interactive modules designed to teach students how to address business communication challenges and develop crucial skills to effectively navigate the workplace environment. These include (but are not limited to) such skills as: team building, public speaking, management of team dynamics, professional business writing.

Module I: New Tools for Business Development

· Communication (Telegram, Slack, Teams, Zoom, GoogleMeet)

· Advertizing (Meta ads, Google ads)

· Brainstorming (Miro)

· Design (Sketch)

· Presentation (PowerPoint, Canva)

· ChatGPT

Presentations for business development:

· Types of presentations

· The core idea and the elements of a presentation

· Steps to create an effective presentation

· How to get better at presenting

· How to succeed in a Q&A session

· Startup pitching to investors

Module II: Team Building

· Team life cycle for team building

· Team effectiveness

· Managing team resources

· Team performance

· Leadership in teams

· The role of organizational culture
