Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course, the student will have a solid understanding of basic microeconomic theory and will be able to engage in economic and political discussions with accuracy and independent judgment. Specifically, the student will: understand decision theory under conditions of certainty, uncertainty, and strategic interaction; have a clear grasp of how different market structures operate and be able to assess their efficiency; and understand the issue of market failures and the potential solutions.
