Assessment methods
The final examination of the degree courses of the health professions has the value of a State examination qualifying for professional practice.
The final examination is organised in two sessions defined at national level, by ministerial decree: as a rule, the first in October-November and the second in March-April.
The final examination consists of:
a practical test during which the student must demonstrate that he/she has acquired the theoretical-practical and technical-operational knowledge and skills typical of the specific professional profile;
drafting of a thesis and dissertation. The dissertation must be written by the student on a topic addressed in a specific and individual manner and must be aimed at demonstrating the acquired ability to deal with professional topics in an original and autonomous manner.
In the event of a negative result in the practical test, the student may not be admitted to the discussion of the dissertation.
