Course contents
- activity and exercise (personal care,mobility and body mechanics,oxygenation and respiratory and cardiovascular function);
- nutrition and metabolism
- perception and self-concept
- coping and stress management
With reference to each functional model, the following are discussed:
- its influencing factors, characteristics and alterations;
- nursing diagnoses according to the NANDA taxonomy and collaborative problems;
- nursing goals;
- educational, preventive, curative and rehabilitative interventions that can be planned;
- nursing techniques applicable to various problems (hygienic care, posture and mobilization, prevention and treatment of immobility and pressure injuries, vital paramenter relief and oxygen therapy management, assitant coughing, communication techniques of guidance, helping).
