Learning outcomes
During the course, the student learns the basic knowledge of Mathematical Analysis for functions in one real variable and some elementary tools of linear algebra. At the end of the course, He/She masters the notions of limit, continuity, differential calculus and integration of functions of one real variable as well as some basic results concerning the matrix calculus. The student can solve simple problems raising from pure and applied sciences.
Course contents
1) Numbers and functions
2) Limits, continuous functions and basic Theorems about continuity
3) Differentiability
4) Sketching Curves
5) Integrability
6) Basic linear algebra for linear systems

Assessment methods
Written exam (resolution of some exercises from the assignments)
Later if the result of the written test goes from 18 to 24, this result could be the final vote. The student may decide if he/she wants to have the oral exam to get a better result.
If the result of the written test is greater or equal to 24, then the oral exam is compulsory.
