Course contents
This language course (36 hours) will be held by language expert Libertad Graterol Navarrete and will focus on specific linguistic aspects directly linked to the content covered in the main course lectures, enabling the students to obtain a good command of the language, so that they can make the most of the course content and translation practice.
The main objective of the course is the acquisition of a series of practical competences for the analysis and translation of different types and genres of text and discourse from Italian into Spanish and from Spanish into Italian. Particular attention will be paid to linguistic divergences between Italian and Spanish through back-translation exercises (Italian-Spanish). It will be important to encourage the acquisition of the methodological tools necessary to identify and solve a wide variety of translation problems, as well as to carry out specialised documentary research.
