Learning outcomes
Students will be able to create circuits to carry out measurements of electrical quantities, put these circuits into operation condition, obtain measurements results and evaluate their uncertainty.
Course contents
Resistance measurement with 2 and 4 terminal volt-amperometric method.
Determination of the resistivity of a specimen made of conductive material
Resistance measurement with four-sided bridge method
Implementation of automatic measurement systems based on LabView
Impedance measurement with voltamperometric method
Determination of the resonant frequency of a resonant circuit
Determination of the loss figure of ferromagnetic material
Measurement on a symmetrical and unbalanced three-phase system
Measurement of energy quality
Determination of the efficiency of a transformer indirectly
Measurement of the resistance of a ground rod
Measurement of soil resistivity
Teaching methods
In consideration of the types of activities and teaching methods adopted, the attendance of this training activity requires the attendance of all students of Modules 1 and 2 in e-learning mode [https://www.unibo.it/it/servizi-e-opportunita/salute-e-assistenza/salute-e-sicurezza/sicurezza-e-salute-nei-luoghi-di-studio-e-tirocinio] and the participation in Module 3 of specific training on safety and health in the places of study.
