Learning outcomes

At the end of the module, the student has the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the main physiotherapy methods used in the neurological field and knows how to evaluate and set up a treatment plan for them.

Course contents

During the lectures will be presented some methods of rehabilitation used for the rehabilitation of patients with neurological pathology. The lessons will be complemented with practical exercises, workshops and assessment of some patients.

Main methods treated:

- Bobath Concept

- Perfetti

- Affolter

- Kabat

- Robotics: in particular, the focus will be on 2 tools used in the rehabilitation of the upper limb and the walk.

In addition, references will be made to other innovative methods in neurorehabilitation:

- MENTAL PRACTISE

- TREADMILL
