Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student must possess knowledge and skills that extend and strengthen the contents, theoretical interpretative models, operational and research methods of nursing and midwifery sciences acquired in the first cycle in solving healthcare problems of clinical and social preventive pediatrics and neonatal
Course contents
Child maltreatment and abuse: epidemiological, clinical, social and psychological aspects;
Access and management in the pediatric ED. Creation of a network of services (law enforcement, hospital and local social services.
Pediatric complex chronic diseases: hospital and community management; PAI processing.

Oral test to evaluate learning and processing of the contents covered.
Evaluation concerning:
exposure to a limited number of topics with poor ability to analyze them: 18-20
exposition of a few topics with just sufficient elaboration but with appropriate language: 21-24
preparation on multiple topics with demonstration of critical analysis of the topics covered and good command of specific terminology: 25-29
preparation on all topics covered, with excellent critical analysis skills and development of independent courses of related activity, with argumentation skills: 30-30 cum laude
