Course contents
Workshop Title
Paper and its Forms: Exploring Expressive Possibilities
The workshop will have as its main theme the use of art and visual languages in nursery and primary schools, exploring different methodologies and techniques to reflect on the role of art in education and child development.
Students will be involved in artistic experiences through the use and experimentation of different expressive languages to promote peer collaboration, the development of divergent thinking and problem solving skills for the creation of artistic projects and the acquisition of key concepts for artistic design for children.
Each meeting will be dedicated to a theme that will be developed by experimenting with various artistic materials to nurture and support the creative potential of each participant. From a practical point of view, suggestions will be provided to explore the different possibilities of artistic languages and materials and to create personal and/or group works with special attention to the artistic process.
The workshop is a precious opportunity for students to develop their creativity, imagination and expressive abilities and to reflect on the characteristics and evolutionary needs of children in relation to art.
No particular artistic skills are required, but the collaboration of the group and the willingness to share moments of expressiveness are required.
It is possible to register, using AlmaEsami, for only one workshop with mandatory attendance. In fact, simultaneous registration for more than one workshop is prohibited.
Those who believe they cannot be present at the first workshop meeting are required to cancel their registration, before the lists close, in order to:
- leave the place free for other students;
- have the possibility of registering for another workshop.
