Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student has the knowledge to recognize and interpret the main rheumatic diseases. In particular, the student knows: - the signs, symptoms and laboratory and imaging diagnostic data that characterize inflammatory arthropathies (Rheumatoid Arthritis, Seronegative Spondyloarthritis, Septic Arthritis, Crystal-induced arthritis); degenerative arthropathy (osteoarthritis or osteoarthritis); Polymyalgia Rheumatica and Giant Cell Arteritis. - Introduction on the classification of vasculitis, on inflammatory myopathies and on the classes of drugs used for arthropathies.

- Lesson 1: Introduction to rheumatology; Semeiotics of inflammatory and non-inflammatory rheumatic diseases; Osteoarthritis; Rheumatoid arthritis
- Lesson 2: Axial spondyloarthritis; Peripheral spondyloarthritis
- Lesson 3: Crystal arthritis; Infectious arthritis; Fibromyalgia; Polymyalgia rheumatica
- Lezione 4: Giant cell arteritis/Takayasu arteritis; Inflammatory myopathies
