Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student acquires the issues related to investment decisions and corporate financing (with particular reference to companies listed on official markets), decisions developed with the object to create value for shareholders. In particular, the student know the principles to be applied in the financial management of a company and is able to answer two fundamental questions: - what investments should a company make? - how should it get the money to finance such investments?

Assessment methods
The evaluation of learning takes place through two midterm tests, each evaluated 16 points. Each test consists of four short exercises (maximum grade 8 points) and eight multiple choice questions. The marks obtained in the two tests will be added in order to arrive at a final evaluation expressed out of thirty. Financial calculators can be used. Students can choose to take an optional oral exam. The result of the oral exam will contribute to the final evaluation.
Graduation:
- <18: insufficient
- 18-23: sufficient
- 24-27: good
- 28-30: excellent
