Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the successful student has the ability to apply the methods of differential and integral calculus, to plot the graph of functions, and to find and classify critical points of functions of two variables.
Course contents
Real-valued functions of a real variable. Limits and continuity. Derivative and related applications. Relative and absolute maxima and minima. Quantitative study of the graph of a function. Integrals. Differential equations (first order). Elements of multivariable calculus.

Assessment methods
The exam will consist in both a written exam and an oral exam. Students will be admitted to the oral exam only after having passed the written exam.
