Learning outcomes
Students are in command of the basic strategies requested from liason interpreters and know how to use them in simple interacting sessions
Course contents
Aim of the course is to improve the skills and abilities the learners have developed in the previous academic terms, i.e. : terminology and glossaries, managing the liaison setting and interacting with the parts.
In the class, students will serve as interpreters in interpreting sessions dealing with topics prepared at home and discussed within class. Excellent knowledge of Italian and German is mandatory. After each session, the students will receive a detailed, accurate feedback focusing on their strengths, as well as recommendations for improvement.

Teaching methods
In class, students will serve as interpreters in interpreting sessions dealing with topics prepared at home and discussed within class. Excellent knowledge of Italian and German is mandatory. After each session, the students will receive a detailed, accurate feedback focusing on their strengths, as well as recommendations for improvement.
Deontology and professional status of interpreters will be discussed whenever relevant, as well as hints and suggestions about how to start a career
Assessment methods
Exam: a liason interpreting session of about 10 to 15 minutes, about topics discussed during the term
Teaching tools
Students will be given the texts used during lessons and will have to write a glossary
