Learning outcomes
At the end of the module, the student will have the ability to apply knowledge and understanding regarding the preventive and rehabilitative needs of individuals with neurological injuries through various functional assessment methods.

Introduction to functional physiotherapy assessment.
Methodological aspects of clinical reasoning.
The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF)
Collection of bio-psycho-social data of rehabilitative interest.
Observation and evaluation of functional systems in individuals with neurological dicorders
Techniques for handling and mobility
Assessment of muscle tone.
Assessment of sensitivity.
Assessment of muscle trophism.
Assessment of muscle strenght.

Teaching methods
Lectures, practical demonstrations, hands-on exercises among participants, clinical case discussions, and small group simulations
Assessment methods
The assessment methods may include evaluating the competencies acquired during the course through a multiple-choice questionnaire and/or an oral examination in which the candidate will be asked questions related to the course contents. The evaluation criteria include: logical reasoning skills, understanding of theoretical concepts, theoretical-practical knowledge of assessment principles, and the ability to contextualize concepts to specific clinical cases.
