Learning outcomes
At the end of the training activities, the student possesses knowledge that integrates and completes the contents of the teachings on welfare / educational / organizational aspects of specific and / or particular interest.
Course contents
1. ORGAN DONATION AND TRANSPLANTS
Activating a network of reflection on: assessment of brain death, management of the potential donor, expression of citizens' will.
2. GENDER AND INTERCULTURAL MEDICINE
Understanding how gender difference affects aspects of pathophysiology and pharmacology.
3. GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND ABUSE SITUATIONS
Acquiring awareness of the skills and roles of health professionals in the area of welcoming victims of violence; path of taking charge and collaboration network.
4. ASSISTANCE TO THE PERSON WITH BURNS
Classification, treatment, identification of care priorities, role of the nurse.
5. POISONING AND INTOXICATIONS
Inalation, swallowing poisoning , skin contamination and drug overdose. Alcohol, carbon dioxide and fungal
intoxication.
6. HEALTH AND SOCIAL HEALTH NEEDS
Integration of social aspects from an integrated nursing perspective, analysis of the complexity of the person and family, multidimensional assessments in the social and healthcare field.

Assessment methods
Admission to the exam is subject to the attendance by the student of at least 75% of the total laboratory activities.
The exam is written and consists of 30 multiple choice and open questions.
The positive evaluation - expressed in suitability - is obtained with a minimum of 21 correct answers.
The time available is 40 minutes.
2 tests per exam session are guaranteed; the test will be kept valid for a single exam session.
The subjects of Professional Laboratory 3 and in-depth seminars II, constitute the integrated course (C.I.) of in-depth Professional laboratory 3, whose evaluation is expressed in suitability, including the positive outcome of each test.
