Course contents

The primary goal is to raise students' awareness of text types and terminology. Additionally, by introducing adaptations of real and original texts (rather than those created specifically for educational purposes), students will have the opportunity to test their expressive skills in Chinese and basic translation techniques.
The course is semester-long and has a total duration of 40 hours.
Please note that attendance of at least 70% of the classes is mandatory.

c) Individual or group translation of the text with the assistance of the instructor.
d) Analysis and final commentary on the translation.
On alternate weeks, students will be given texts to translate individually, which can be submitted to the instructor for correction.

The final exam consists of translating a text from Italian to Chinese. The duration of the exam is 2 hours, and the use of dictionaries will be permitted.
The grade for this course will be averaged with the grade obtained in the course Traduzione dal Cinese in Italiano II and will be recorded at the end of the academic year as a single final grade for the course Traduzione tra l'Italiano e il Cinese II.
Students who have completed one of the modules during an Erasmus/Overseas program are requested to inform the instructors.
