Learning outcomes
At the end of the Internship the students understand several aspects of the professional life of a geographer; acquire theoretical and practival knowledge and understand the working processes in different contexts. The students, moreover, develop communication skills both in writing and speaking, are able to work in an interdisciplinary environment and to critically analyze the phenomena studied.
Course contents
The curricular internship is an activity of your study plan that allows you to achieve practical skills and university credits (CFU). You may carry it out either at premises of the University of Bologna or at external public or private institutions that have signed an internship agreement with the University, in Italy or abroad.

The internship abroad can be carried out also by applying to the exchange programme Erasmus+ mobility for traineeship [https://www.unibo.it/en/study/international-experiences/internship-abroad/erasmus-mobility-for-traineeship/erasmus-mobility-for-traineeship]
The curricular internship must always include activities congruent with the training course, to be checked with Prof. Michaela De Giglio for the technical-cartographic field, or with Prof. Elisa Magnani for any other type of internship.
Assessment methods
At the end of the internship, the academic tutor will evaluate the final report.With positive evaluation, the teaching activity will be registered in your career as ID.
In case of an internship abroad in the frame of an Erasmus+ mobility for traineeship programme, the teaching activity will be registered in your career as ID.
