Assessment methods
Final exam (written)
The test will be composed of 12 multiple-choice exercises/ multiple-choice theoretical questions. Each question has 4 possible answers and only one is correct.
The 5 exercises will weight 3 points each in the final mark.
No penalties are given for answers that are left blank or incorrect.
If the final score is at least 18, the test is passed. The final score, if greater or equal to 18, corresponds to the grade of the Applied Physics module. If the score is greater than 30, the grade is cum laude.
This grade will be averaged (weighted average) with the grades of the other modules of the integrated course to obtain the final grade.
The test has to be performed in maximum 30 minutes.
Use of calculators will be allowed (their use is actually reccomended), but not of notes or books. Cellphones do not count as calculators.
