Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student possesses the knowledge to recognize, address, and solve complex cases in endodontics. Specifically, the student is able to:

• Manage endodontic emergencies and their treatment; • Recognize and appropriately use the main techniques of instrument preparation; • Recognize and appropriately use substances used for root canal irrigation; • Manage endoperiodontal pathologies; • Plan and organize simple endodontic surgery interventions; • Coordinate an assistant in carrying out endodontic procedures.

Course contents

Analysis of canal instrumentation techniques with rotary and reciprocating nickel-titanium systems.

Analysis of warm and cold canal obturation techniques.

Utilization of resin-based sealers and calcium silicate-based sealers.
