Learning outcomes

Knowledge and skills to be achieved. At the end of the module the student applies the knowledge acquired relating to technical, relational and educational skills in fundamental nursing care. Develops methodological skills relating to care planning. The activity develops in relation to the internship path and the theoretical contents.

Course contents

As regards the GESTURES WORKSHOPS, the services offered are:

- BLSD - Cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques in adults (suitability will be verified at the end of each individual laboratory meeting)
- BLSDP - Cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques in children (suitability will be verified at the end of each individual laboratory meeting)
- Broncho aspiration and management of tracheostomy
- EGA - Blood gas analysis
- Complex dressings
- SBAR method
- Responsibility in drug management

Teaching methods

Exercises in small groups in the presence of an expert tutor, on the various methods indicated in the program.

Assessment methods

The contents of the laboratories will be assessed in terms of suitability as required by the Degree Program Regulations through a written test in multiple choice quiz format.

The topics included in the suitability test are those developed in the program.

Teaching tools

Various types of health aids, mannequins, educational material (paper, online and video) by expert laboratory leaders.
