Knowledge and skills to be acquired At the end of the training activities, the student possesses knowledge that complements and supplements the teaching content on care/educational/organisational aspects of specific and/or particular interest.

Course contents

The seminar activities are:

1. Donation and transplantation

2. Additional precautions on respiratory infections - VAP prevention (pneumonia associated with mechanical ventilation)

3. Pathological dependencies

4. Gender-based violence and the reception network

5. Prison nursing care

6. The nursing care of LBGT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) people

7. The responsibility in the management of narcotics

8. Prevention of aggression in care settings

Assessment methods

Written test with 30 multiple-choice questions.

The test will be passed with a minimum score of 18 out of 30 and will be assessed in terms of suitability, as provided for in the Course Regulations.
