Learning outcomes

At the end of the workshop, the student:

  • is able to apply the concepts covered in the integrated course within a simulated learning environment;
  • is able to critically reflect in a group on the proposed topic

Course contents

The workshop delves into the dynamics of bullying and cyberbullying, closely examining their distinctive characteristics and interconnections. Particular attention is given to the relational dynamics among students that can reinforce such behaviors and to the crucial role of teachers in preventing and addressing these situations.

Teaching methods

The workshop combines lectures, group discussions, real-life case analyses, and practical activities such as role-playing to experiment with intervention strategies. Through an interactive and participatory approach, students will have the opportunity to develop new skills and share their experiences and knowledge.

Assessment methods

The workshop includes an evaluation based on the level of participation and engagement demonstrated during the sessions. Students are also required to prepare a final report, working in small groups.

The outcome can be:

  • Fail (the workshop must be repeated the following year);
  • -1 point from the final exam grade (out of 30);
  • 0 (no impact on the final exam grade);
  • +1 point added to the final exam grade (out of 30).
