Learning outcomes
At the end of the module the student possesses the knowledge relating to taking charge of the person/family in the context of priority health problems in the medical area. Identifies, plans and evaluates assistance interventions and collaborates with other professional figures in the diagnostic-therapeutic pathways.
Course contents
Nursing care in patients with Cardiovascular Diseases (Acute Coronary Syndrome; Heart Failure; Shock; Notes on Arrhythmias and Hypertension) Nursing care in patients with respiratory diseases (COPD, Asthma, Pneumonia) Nursing care in patients with Cerebrovascular Diseases (Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Stroke; Epilepsy) Nursing care in patients with diabetes mellitus Nursing care in patients with Kidney Diseases (Acute Renal Failure; Chronic Renal Failure) Nursing care in patients with Gastroenterological Diseases (Liver Cirrhosis; Viral Hepatitis; Notes on Acute and Chronic Pancreatitis and Intestinal disease) Nursing care in patients with Oncological Diseases. It will be possible to explain other assistance plans for other pathologies not previously considered at the request of the students. Any changes, albeit minimal, will be communicated during the lessons.

Teaching methods
Frontal lessons. The slides of the lessons will be distributed. There will be at least two lessons done in TBL mode.
Assessment methods
Oral exam. The mark will be averaged with the other exams of the Integrated Course.
