Course contents

The Chinese Language and Linguistics exercises involve lessons which aim at the acquisition of four skills:

-speech comprehension skills: ability to understand the communicative elements of a dialogue or speech;

-writing comprehension skills: ability to understand the content of a written text;

-spoken production competence: ability to hold an effective dialogue with an interlocutor or articulate effective and correct speech;

-writing production competency: ability to write correct, understandable and effective texts.


The materials offered for comprehension and the proposed tracks for production will initially be taken from Masini F. et al. (2010). Cinese per Italiani. Intermediate course, vol. II. Hoepli. and in any case will respect the level proposed by the textbook. Besides the textbook, additional materials will be provided to address broader and more varied communicative situations and literary genres.

Teaching methods

Reading and explanation of vocabulary, reading and comprehension of texts, performance of oral and written exercises suggested by the textbook and tutors.
