Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student possesses basic knowledge of biochemistry and in particular acquires knowledge on: structure and function of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and other biomolecules; enzymes and coenzymes; metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids and nitrogenous compounds; biochemistry and metabolic interactions of tissues and organs, hormonal regulation and metabolic adaptations.
