Learning outcomes
This module develops the skills related to the ideation, planning and writing of the final dissertation, building the necessary abilities of reference management, data collection, critical thinking, time scheduling, management of feedback, and presentation.
Course contents
This course supports the development of a structured dissertation project, providing guidance on how to identify a suitable project, plan its development and work with the supervisor. Students will benefit from having the opportunity to plan and manage their individual piece of research on a topic of their interest. This course offers the skillset to successfully navigate the complexity of a dissertation project, combining literature review, data collection and analysis and the ability to propose solid arguments and communicate with a wide audience. This course will also enhance the employability skills related to planning a structured project, managing expectations and deadlines and dealing with feedback.

The final assessment is based on the submission of a structured dissertation plan.
