Learning outcomes

The seminar aims to promote knowledge of looming issues and current experiences by providing critical tools for the understanding/action of existing cultural, philosophical-legal and socio-political phenomena and practices, from a critical gender perspective

Course contents

The programme addresses the issue of gender differences and discrimination with an interdisciplinary approach, considering the topic both from a theoretical perspective and with reference to civil practice.

The lectures, starting in October, will be delivered by various speakers, teachers or experts in the field, as well as representatives of local associations.

The detailed list of lectures will be communicated on Virtuale prior to the start of the seminar.

Readings/Bibliography

News, updates, speaker information, supporting bibliography and teaching materials will be published during the seminar on the relevant Virtuale page.

Teaching methods

The course involves lectures, supported by multimedia tools.

Assessment methods

The exam will take place in written form, through the presentation of a short paper (2-3 pages at least) on a topic chosen by the student from among those covered in the course. The test will aim to verify the student's critical capacity to reflect in a personal manner on the topics covered.

The written paper is to be uploaded onto Virtual at least one week before the exam date in which the student intends to participate.
