Course contents

The General and Social Pedagogy course aims to delve into both the main characteristics of the educational experience and the most recurring problematic issues. Through the contributions of classic authors and those emerging from the most current research, within the epistemology of complexity and without neglecting reflections on ethical issues, the fundamental issues for future educators in the socio-educational and socio-health services will be addressed. Among these issues we remember, for example, the vulnerabilities and the resources to be activated in the educational process to cope the existential changes; “existential planning” in the different ages of life; problems related to the reorganization of bodily and emotional memory; the ability to deconstruct socio-cultural conditioning in order to develop new skills and to refine the most effective educational styles.
