Learning outcomes
Describe the normal architecture and function of the renal parenchyma, and the molecular and cellular etiopathogenesis of the main nephrological diseases. Discuss the main diagnostic techniques for the identification of diseases with renal involvement. Discuss innovative biotechnological strategies for the diagnosis and therapy of renal disorders. Apply molecular biology techniques for the study of nephrological problems.
Course contents
Clinical Nephrology area of interests in biotechnology
(immunological glomerulopathies, hereditary nephropathies, biomarkers of acute kidney injury, acute renal failure, chronic renal failure, hemodialysis, kidney transplantation)
