PROGRAMME
- The lymphatic circulation (anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system)
- Frank-Starling's Law
- Lipedema
- Lymphoedema
- Lymphoedema pathology
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD):
- Indications and contraindications
- Complementary therapies to MLD: physical therapies, compression therapy, weight management, physical activity
- Elastic compression bandages
Practical Part:
- Manual lymphatic drainage (with or without lymph nodes) and bandaging
- Demonstration and hands-on session of manual lymphatic drainage of: chest, back, buttocks, face, neck, upper and lower limbs
-Lymphotaping (indications and contraindications)
Demonstration and application practice

Lectures with access to individual PCs, supervised practical part with student involvement
