-
from Feb 25, 2025 to Jun 06, 2025
Learning outcomes
The student will become acquainted with perturbation theory for interacting quantum fields and collision theory. In particular, he/she will have a basic knowledge of radiative corrections and vacuum polarization through the use of Feynman diagrams.
Course contents
- Perturbation theory for interacting quantum field theories
- S-Matrix, cross sections and decay rates
- Feynman diagrams and Feynman rules
- Path integrals and generating functionals
- Higher order corrections, regularization and renormalization
- Quantum electrodynamics (QED)
