Learning outcomes
The student acquires the knowledge and the ability to understand the clinical pictures related to the pathologies of the central and peripheral nervous system.
Course contents
The course aims to provide the student with the essential elements in the field of neurology, with specific reference to the clinical aspects to know:
- the bases of the pathophysiology of the peripheral nervous system and of neurological semeiotics, in order to be able to differentiate normal from abnormal objective signs of the central and peripheral nervous system
- the main pathologies of the peripheral nervous system
- the main laboratory and instrumental methods that can be used in the neurological field and their diagnostic and prognostic significance.
